Because of the pandemic, all church services, including weddings, are suspended until further notice. But please Please telephone Daniel now on 07539 268773 or email him on rectoricknield@gmail.com so that when things return to normal we can together plan your wedding service.
We are delighted that you are thinking about having your wedding in St Leonard's Church. Getting married is a very important step in your life's journey and marrying in church in the eyes of God and amongst your family and friends is a very significant step to take.
If you would to like to know more about being married in church you might like to look up the marriage link on the Church of England
Web Site: http://www.churchofengland.org/weddings-baptisms-funerals.aspx
There is a huge amount of information that you will probably find very helpful.
If you would like to discuss being married at St Leonard’s Church please contact Revd Angie Paterson or Revd Lucy Austin (details on the "Ministry Team" and "Contact Us" pages) at an early stage so that we can arrange a meeting to talk about your wishes.
As weddings are often booked in months if not years ahead it may not be possible to tell you straight away which member of the Ministry Team will be conducting a particular wedding. As soon as that information is known couples will be informed and future meetings will be organized with the priest who will conduct the ceremony.
We regularly organize marriage preparation courses, which many couples have found very helpful. If such a course would be of interest to you please let us know.
